Program Director (Provider Data Ops / Medicaid / State Master Files) - REMOTE

Job Summary

Responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. Delivers products through the design process to completion, plans and directs schedules and project budgets, and monitors projects from inception through delivery. May oversee external vendors and assigns tasks to system analysis and program staff. Focuses on project/program management rather than specialized functional expertise, though technical team members may be involved. Requires strong management and leadership skills, experience presenting to C-level executives, and extensive knowledge of portfolio and project management tools and methodologies. Must be able to quickly assimilate information, make informed decisions, and handle multiple priorities in ambiguous situations. Responsible for overall governance of operational and strategic project portfolios, managing relationships with Corporate EPMO and IT, and overseeing issue escalation and resolution.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert and lead programs to meet critical needs
• Escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to senior management
• Develop business case methodologies and coordinate business strategy implementation
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans levels

Job Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Required Experience: 7-9 years

Preferred Education: Graduate degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: 10+ years Provider Data Operations experience, experience with State Master Files, advanced Excel skills with large data sets

Preferred Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL delivery experience
