Job Description

Job Summary

The Program Director is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. This includes delivering products from design to completion, planning schedules, managing budgets, and overseeing project execution from inception to delivery. The role may involve managing external vendors and directing system analysis and program staff. The primary focus is on project and program management, with a need for strong leadership, governance, and strategic oversight skills. The candidate should be experienced in presenting to C-level executives, managing portfolios, and utilizing project management tools and methodologies. The role requires an analytical thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and ambiguity. The Program Director will also manage strategic relationships with the Corporate EPMO and IT departments, oversee issue resolution, and ensure project alignment with organizational goals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert and lead programs to meet critical needs
• Escalate implementation and compliance gaps to senior management
• Develop business case methodologies and coordinate business strategies
• Collaborate across units at corporate and Molina Plans levels

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Required Experience

7-9 years in relevant field

Preferred Education

Graduate degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience

10+ years Provider Data Operations experience, with expertise in State Master Files and advanced Excel skills for large data sets

Preferred Certifications

PMP, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL delivery experience
