Job Description

Job Summary

The Program Director is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs, involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. They oversee the delivery of products from design to completion, plan and direct schedules and budgets, monitor projects from inception through delivery, and may oversee external vendors. The role involves assigning, directing, and monitoring system analysis and program staff. This position focuses on project and program management, requiring strong leadership and governance skills, experience with portfolio management tools and methodologies, and the ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives. The Program Director manages strategic relationships and oversees issue escalation and resolution processes.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources with oversight from AVP and VP.
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert and lead programs to meet critical needs.
• Escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance.
• Develop business cases and strategies for programs.
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

7-9 years.

Preferred Education

Graduate Degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience

10+ years.

Preferred Certifications

CPHQ.
