Job Description

Job Summary

The Program Director is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams of subject matter experts. The role includes delivering products through the design process to completion, planning and directing schedules and project budgets, and monitoring projects from inception through delivery. The director may oversee external vendors, assign, direct, and monitor system analysis and program staff. This position primarily focuses on project and program management, requiring strong leadership, governance, and strategic oversight across operational and strategic portfolios. The candidate should be experienced in presenting to C-level executives, managing multiple priorities, and utilizing portfolio and project management tools and methodologies.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Manage programs using staff and matrixed resources, with oversight from AVP and VP as needed.
• Serve as industry Subject Matter Expert in the functional area and lead programs to meet critical needs.
• Escalate gaps and barriers in implementation and compliance to senior management.
• Develop business case methodologies and coordinate implementation of business strategies.
• Collaborate with other units at corporate and Molina Plans.

Job Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience: 7-9 years.

Preferred Education: Graduate degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience: 10+ years.

Preferred Certification: CPHQ.

Molina Healthcare offers a competitive benefits and compensation package. The pay range is $80,412 - $188,164 annually, with actual compensation varying based on location, experience, education, and skills.
