Job summary

PALS OHIO, LLC. is seeking a Program Director to oversee site operations, staff scheduling, and incident reporting while coordinating with the COO and Executive Directors. You will supervise personnel, ensure safety and quality of care, and maintain program documentation.

The role requires leading staff orientation, conducting evaluations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. A valid driver’s license and DOT medical certificate are required, with a focus on continuous process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with at least four years' experience working with persons with Developmental Disabilities.
• Knowledge of Developmental Disabilities and reporting procedures in local Counties.
• Ability to supervise and administer ongoing operations.
• Must have a current and valid Driver’s License and pass the DOT physical.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
• Current annual training requirements and annual criminal background screens.
• Experience conducting staff interviews, scheduling, and payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor program execution at the site and act as liaison for Executive Directors and Staff.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and incident reporting procedures.
• Oversee program logs and documentation; ensure staffing rosters meet funded positions.
• Interview prospective applicants and ensure adequate staffing for services.
• Provide orientation and training for new staff; conduct performance evaluations and counseling.
• Coordinate staff meetings and provide monthly supervision for required staff.
• Update administration and staff on relevant issues and tasks; manage weekly employee schedules and bi-weekly timesheets.
• Coordinate outings and activities for clients; supervise center and alarm maintenance.
• Identify process improvements and communicate changes to COO, Operations Director, and Board of Directors.
