Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Program Director to oversee residential and/or day programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The role blends direct care with supervision, ensuring personalized supports and program integrity.

You will lead staff, coordinate operations, manage goals and budgets, and collaborate with teams to uphold quality, licensing standards, and Dungarvin expectations in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field is required.
• At least 1 year full-time direct experience with participants with developmental disabilities.
• At least 2 years of management experience working with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• Experience developing and implementing individualized programs, budgets, and supervising employees is desirable.
• Strong decision-making, time management and communication skills; flexible and collaborative.
• Commitment to creating a respectful and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate residential and/or day programs for individuals with IDD.
• Manage staff orientation, training, and ongoing development.
• Monitor program operations including goals, plans, budgets, and medical/financial aspects.
• Provide leadership and build a strong program team.
• Ensure quality of services aligned with person-centered practices, licensing, and company expectations.
• Provide direct care as needed at programs.
