Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Program Director for IDD Services in Longview, TX to oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 community-based programs serving individuals with IDD. You will lead staff, ensure person-centered services, and manage a caseload of 30–35 clients, traveling to homes and day program locations.

The role requires at least two years in human services and IDD experience, strong leadership and communication, a valid driver’s license, and solid organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of related experience in Human Services.
• At least two years of IDD experience.
• Knowledge of HCS programs strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, current car registration, and auto insurance required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Reliable, responsible, and compassionate in approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day program operations including supports, planning, healthcare coordination, advocacy and safety.
• Manage financials, staffing, recruitment, retention and training initiatives.
• Supervise program staff: scheduling, orientation, performance evaluations, and actions as needed.
• Make recommendations on hiring, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, and terminations.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure supports are engaging and meaningful.
• Provide on-call support to staff and assist with shift coverage.
