Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers in Cambridge, MA seeks a program leader to plan, direct and oversee operations and staff within the assigned program. You will collaborate with external referral sources to ensure a steady flow of eligible clients and supervise service delivery to align with program goals.

You will oversee policy, budget, and quality assurance activities, while maintaining compliance with agency guidelines and coordinating with the VP of Community Services.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and management experience in a multi-disciplinary setting required.
• Masters Degree in Social Work, Human Services and/or Education preferred.
• Professional license preferred.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the field of Child welfare and/or child education preferred.
• Knowledge of Child Welfare system with working knowledge of state agencies.
• Computer application skills (e.g. MS Office, SPSS, etc) required.
• Computer literate including Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and oversee the activities within the program.
• Provide regular supervision to key leadership members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement program services with measurable outcomes; ensure quality standards.
• Maintain relationships with community agencies to secure eligible clients.
• Oversee budget preparation and monitor expenditures against allocations.
• Manage intake and discharge processes and ensure timely documentation.
