Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers, Inc. in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Program Director to plan, direct, and oversee operations and staff within the program under the VP of Community Services.

You will collaborate with external referral sources, develop services aligned with client needs, ensure high-quality treatment plans, and maintain compliance and reporting. Strong leadership and budget management are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and management experience in a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Masters Degree in Social Work/related field; professional license preferred.
• Clinical experience preferred; knowledge of Child Welfare is desirable.
• Experience with program budgeting and staff supervision.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and oversee the activities within the program; supervise staff and provide regular feedback.
• Develop, implement and monitor services and treatment plans aligned with client needs.
• Collaborate with external referral sources to ensure a steady flow of eligible clients.
• Oversee budget development and monitor expenditures; report to VP.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and prepare program reports as required.
• Liaise with providers and community resources to strengthen services.
• Attend meetings and provide leadership in program initiatives.
