Job summary

BestCare Treatment Services, Inc. seeks a Program Director to provide strategic oversight and operational management of CMHPs in Crook and Jefferson Counties.

This senior leader will partner with the Chief Behavioral Health Officer and the management team to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed care and strong fiscal health for the program. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling or a related field AND Oregon licensure of either a LPC, LCSW or LMFT required.
• CADC required OR specialized training through Oregon LPC, LCSW or LMFT licensure required.
• At least three years of experience working in a Community Mental Health Program AND at least three years of management experience required.
• Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment.
• Knowledge and understanding of OARs and CFAA.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and community relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, day-to-day supervision and performance monitoring over the program staff.
• Ensure trauma informed, respectful and compassionate treatment is provided to all clients who enter the program.
• Develop and implement policies that protect health, safety, and confidentiality.
• Work with Quality Team to achieve audit scores and meet required reviews.
• Knowledge and understanding of Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers (CCBHC).
• Collaborate with Management Team to improve services and outcomes.
• Manage personnel including hiring, performance evaluation and dismissal, per policy.
• Ensure clinical practices meet best practice standards.
• Coordinate with Revenue Cycle and EPIC teams on workflows.
• Provide ongoing training for counseling staff.
• Maintain strong relationships with community partners.
• Track expenses and revenues to support program resources.
• Oversee front office staff and administrative practices.
• Represent BestCare across the state.
• Other duties as assigned by the Chief Behavioral Health Officer.
