POSITION OVERVIEW
The Aquatics Program Director plans and implements a wide variety of aquatics programs, supervises aquatics staff and must have thorough understanding of a variety of aquatics programs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work with people of all ages in the discharge of duties. Strong ability to maintain respect and discipline from participants, and to develop and maintain a cooperative relationship with associates, parents and others. Considerable experience in dealing with people in group situations and strong customer service skills. Ability to objectively evaluate program and submit comprehensive and well written reports. Ability to plan, organize, implement and supervise a series of programs and to manage operation of a facility for programs. Experience with inclusion and serving people with varying abilities.
Supervisory experience required. Lifeguard Certification and swim lesson experience strongly desired. Additional training opportunities may be offered to candidate with a strong aquatics background. Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle license.
