Job summary

YMCA of South Florida is seeking a Program Director to lead Out of School Time programs across Broward County. You will manage daily operations, develop engaging curriculum, supervise staff, ensure safety and licensing compliance, and foster an inclusive environment for participants.

The role requires coordinating with schools, families, and community partners, maintaining program quality standards, and driving enrollment and engagement across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in education, or related field, or 60 hours of college equivalent or CDA.
• Director’s Credential required within 18 months of hire.
• Minimum one year of experience managing youth development programs and three years of experience working directly with youth in out-of-school-time settings.
• Strong administrative leadership and supervision of multiple sites.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enrollment processes for all programs and ensure timely file reporting.
• Provide daily supervision of part-time staff in Afterschool and Camp programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements; pass inspections.
• Develop and implement staff training plans and conduct regular staff meetings.
• Coordinate with schools, families, and community partners to support student success and program quality.
