YMCA of Southwest Florida seeks a Program Coordinator to assist the Program Director with program development, staff training, and on-site supervision. This role ensures daily scheduling and that activities align with YMCA policies and child-centered objectives.

On-site daily presence, collaboration with teachers and parents, and ability to manage family programs while upholding safety protocols and high-quality programming are essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass Florida background check requirements and adhere to YMCA policies.
• Experience working with children and in a program setting.
• Professional appearance and behavior; strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with program planning, administration, and evaluation.
• Lead staff training, conduct weekly meetings, and monitor staff performance.
• Support curriculum, crafts, environmental/outdoor education, and character development activities.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff; respond to concerns.
