Job summary

YMCA of South Florida is seeking a Site Director for the afterschool program in Miami, dedicated to supervising daily activities with warmth and respect while ensuring child safety. Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Associate or Bachelor's degree, and/or with comparable experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid and AED certified within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plans, writes, and implements daily program activities to create a learning environment.
• Maintains attendance, sign-in/sign-out records, and tracks children’s progress.
• Ensures safety rules are followed and reports safety concerns promptly.
• Communicates with parents, school staff, and program administrators.
• Oversees program supplies, facilities, and equipment safety.
