University of Houston is hiring a Program Director 2 - Office of Student Affairs Systems and Data (Law Center) to serve as the technical and data resource for the Law Center's Office of Student Affairs. The director builds and improves the systems, reports, and automated workflows that manage student records, enrollment, and academic performance, working under the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.

Highlights

• Serve as the primary technical resource for student recordkeeping, enrollment, academic progress, and performance data.
• Query and analyze student data with SQL, advanced Excel, Qualtrics, relational databases, and Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Automate.
• Build dashboards, reports, and datasets that support compliance, accreditation, assessment, and decision-making.
• Improve business processes and workflows through automation and data integration.
• Create apps, tools, and plug-ins for Law Center stakeholders, increasingly using AI to measure student success metrics.
• Manage course registration, grade submissions, exam scheduling, and other academic systems processes.
• Oversee graduation audits and degree progress monitoring while maintaining student records and policy compliance.
