Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: requires a thorough understanding of analytical or professional discipline; a 4-year degree or equivalent training is typically required.
• Experience: minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
• Plans, develops, and administers institutional data management strategies, governance frameworks, and operational procedures.
• Directs and coordinates activities related to data integrity, security, and compliance across the division and university.
• All positions at UH System are security sensitive and require a criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Directs an ongoing university program to ensure activities align with its mission and objectives.
• Plans, develops and administers methods and procedures to meet program objectives; oversees daily staff activities.
• Prepares and monitors the annual budget and ensures expenditures stay within allocation.
• Directs and coordinates activities related to meeting program objectives, directly or through staff.
• Reviews reports and records of activities to ensure progress toward objectives and modifies methods as needed.
• Analyzes trends within program areas and maintains awareness of change needs.
• Implements policies and procedures concerning program administration.
• Manages grants for the program, including meetings and coordination of scholarships.
• May prepare or participate in grant proposals from external sponsors.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
