Job summary

Copa Health in Arizona is seeking a Program Assistant to join our fast-paced, office-based healthcare team. The Program Assistant will provide administrative and clinical support to an assigned location or program, acting as receptionist, assisting in check-in/check-out, scheduling, and ensuring proper filing of clinical documentation in the electronic health record.

The Program Assistant also provides direct care services as needed and directed by program leadership, with responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Minimum HS Diploma/GED and two (2) years of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire.
  • TB Test clearance required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Work with site leadership to review, monitor, and correction of department notes including, time overlap reports and templates with no documentation report.
  • Responsible for collecting and reviewing transportation logs for company vehicles and transportation trackers
  • May assist with co-facilitation of groups when needed.
  • Collects, monitors, scans, and enters data/information into the electronic health records or as assigned.
  • Requests updated documents as needed for the electronic health records.
  • As receptionist greets, receives, and ensure sign in sheets are signed.
  • Support the growth of the program by covering and assisting with referrals scheduling and scanning documents into files
