Job summary

Copa Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator to join our ACT team in Phoenix, AZ. You will supervise daily clinical operations, mentor staff, and ensure services align with Comprehensive Assessments and Recovery Plans.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in behavioral health or seven years of related experience with HS/GED, plus at least one year of supervisory work. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, and a valid fingerprint card is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field, or HS/GED with 7 years behavioral health experience.
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Fingerprint clearance card issued by AZ Dept. of Public Safety or eligible within 8 weeks.
  • Reliable transportation and valid AZ Driver’s License with required insurance.
  • TB Test clearance required at hire and annually.

Responsibilities

  • Provides and documents administrative supervision, consultation, and mentoring of daily clinical operations for direct reports.
  • Monitors direct costs and budget efficiency; helps with annual budget preparation.
  • Participates in hiring, training, coaching, and supervising of Case Managers and ACT Team Specialists.
  • Monitors staff engagement and ensures appropriate services are provided to participants and documented.
  • Ensures coordination of care with internal/external providers and stakeholders as needed.
  • Cooperates with audits, inspections, and investigations; available on-call 24/7 as required.

Who We’re looking for

Copa Health is seeking a supportive and dependable Clinical Coordinator to join our ACT team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides and documents administrative supervision, consultation, and mentoring of daily clinical operations for direct reports ensuring that the behavioral needs of recipients are being met and that services are delivered as outlined in each participant’s Comprehensive Assessment/Integrated Service Plan and/or Recovery Plan.
  • With the support of the Program Director, monitors all direct costs incurred and efficiency of spending for programs. Contributes to ensuring that the programs operate within the established fiscal budget and provide input to management for annual budget preparation for programs.
  • Participates in the hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, performance and supervising of Case Managers, all ACT Team Specialists, and others as per the original text.
  • Monitors all ACT staff engagement (productivity) expectations of Direct Reports ensuring that the appropriate array and amount of services are provided to participants and ensures direct reports are documenting service provisions as needed.
  • Ensures that direct reports are providing coordination of care to internal and external provider agencies, state entities or other stakeholders (e.g. probation officers, advocates, family member, hospital staff, jail staff, vocational rehabilitation, etc.) as needed.
  • Cooperate with audits, inspections, and investigations.
  • Available on-call 24 hours/day, 7 days/week unless otherwise scheduled as part of a rotation or in event of a scheduled absence in which coverage is required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field and a minimum of three (3) years of behavioral health work experience OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience of HS/GED and seven (7) years of behavioral health work experience is acceptable.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory/managerial experience required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Must have a fingerprint clearance card issued by the AZ Department of Public Safety or eligible to receive one within eight (8) weeks of hire
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid AZ Driver’s License with state minimum insurance coverage and ability to meet and maintain Copa Health’s acceptable driving requirements.
  • TB Test clearance required at the time of hire and annually.
