Job summary

TJFACT is seeking a well-qualified Program Analyst to support the Department of State – INL/SAO/AT in Washington, DC. This onsite, full-time position focuses on enterprise risk management, management controls, and records management to ensure compliance with federal guidance.

You will assist with risk identification and mitigation across Bureau programs, support FOIA processing and records retention, and help with special projects that strengthen internal operations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Active security clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • 6–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience facilitating organizational change.

Responsibilities

  • Receive direction from leadership and maintain timely communications to address potential problems with workable solutions.
  • Gather, analyze, consolidate, and prepare data for analysis, documents, and activity reports.
  • Respond to oversight requests and coordinate responses to engagements related to risk and management controls; assist auditors.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor management information systems tracking oversight activities and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
  • Coordinate property management activities, including End Use Monitoring (EUM) requirements and compliance.
  • Coordinate training modules related to management controls and risk.
  • Develop a records management process with civil servant final approval.
  • Manage records per Department policies, including FOIA requests and retention/disposition.
  • Participate in special projects and interpret government-wide legislation affecting Bureau programs.
  • Coordinate weekly/quarterly activity reports and maintain SharePoint databases.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, internal controls, and Standard Operating Procedures for classified and sensitive materials.
