Securitas is seeking Professional Security Officers for full-time roles in St. Louis, MO. The position pays $19 per hour and involves monitoring premises, access control, and patrolling across client sites.

You will deliver excellent customer service, enforce regulations, and report safety issues. Qualifications include HS diploma or GED, 18+, and the ability to work 2 of 3 shifts with calm, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work 2 of 3 shifts.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and enforce access control and patrolling.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Maintain post orders and complete assigned rounds.

• Operate technology devices during shift and document findings.

Professional Security Officers - Full Time

Primary Location: St Louis, MO

Wage: $19.00/HR

Available Shifts:

• 0500 - 1200
• 0500 - 1300

Our Professional Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct foot / mobile patrols of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed - tablet and smart phone usage.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Must be able to work 2 out of 3 shifts - open availability greatly desired.
