Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is hiring a Professional Security Officer in Florissant, MO. The role includes monitoring premises, enforcing regulations, and providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors throughout the shift.

The position is full-time with a Wed-Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule. Perks include healthcare, 401K, paid time off, and daily pay options. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

• Conduct tours of the property.

Professional Security Officers - Full Time

Primary Location: Florissant, MO

Wage: $19.00/HR

Schedule: Wed - Sun: 1500 - 2300

Our Professional Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Driving record must meet company and / or insurance standards.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must be responsible and dependable.
