Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in St. Louis, MO, is hiring Professional Security Officers for full-time roles.

The position offers day shifts 0500-1200 and 0500-1300, wage $19.00 per hour, and a focus on access control, patrolling, and maintaining a safe environment at client sites. You will handle de-escalation, report safety issues, and provide customer service to employees and guests. Requirements include being 18+, HS diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and ability to pass

Qualifications

• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen & background).
• Able to work 2 out of 3 shifts; open availability desired.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct foot and mobile patrols of the property.
• Perform duties as assigned for the site.

Professional Security Officers - Full Time

Primary Location: St Louis, MO

Wage:$19.00/HR

Available Shifts:

• 0500 - 1200
• 0500 - 1300

Our Professional Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed - tablet and smart phone usage.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Must be able to work 2 out of 3 shifts - open availability greatly desired.
