Securitas US Business Unit in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Temp - Security Officer for a full-time position. You will monitor premises, perform access control, patrol multiple sites, and enforce client site regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.

This temporary role lasts about 8 weeks with potential relocation to another site or flex officer placement. Candidates should have HS diploma or GED, strong customer service, attentive to detail, and the ability to stay calm in stressful

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises including access control and patrolling a variety of locations.
• Enforce regulations and directives for client sites.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.

Temp - Security Officers - Full Time

Primary Location: St Louis, MO

Wage: $21.50/HR

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Temporary position for approximately 8 weeks then will be placed at another site or moved to flex officer.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
