Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer in Chesterfield, MO. The role involves monitoring premises, enforcing site regulations, access control, and patrolling various client locations to maintain a safe environment.

The position requires strong customer service, vigilance, and the ability to work independently. Flexible availability and a valid driver’s license are preferred for this on-site role.

Full-Time Security Officer

Primary Location: Chesterfield, MO

Wage: $19.00/HR

Schedule: 39 Hours Per Week

• Mon - Wed: 7AM - 8PM

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Front desk / access control duties such as creating badges for visitors and answering phones.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• Must have a strong professional appearance.
• Driving record must meet company and / or insurance standards.
• Reliable means of transportation needed.
• Open availability preferred.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must be responsible and dependable.
• Must be able to obtain a Pharm Tech License.
