Job summary

Volt is hiring multiple Production Workers for an aerospace company located in West Des Moines, IA. This is a full-time position with multiple shifts available.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating testing equipment, recording results, assisting with assembly and calibration, and collaborating with leads to meet production goals. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform assembly and calibration-related tasks.
• Basic computer skills, including email, internet use, and the ability to learn manufacturing software and work instruction systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints, and work instructions (or willingness to learn).
• Basic math, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

• Operate production equipment, including laser markers and printers, following established procedures and quality standards.
• Record test results, spray parameters, and product performance data by serial number while maintaining accurate production documentation.
• Assist with the assembly, calibration, repair, and disassembly of mechanical components and sub-assemblies under supervision.
• Follow standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support workplace safety programs.
• Work collaboratively with lead technicians, supervisors, and engineers to resolve issues and complete production goals.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
