Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Training Lead for the Day Shift to drive new-hire training across departments, ensuring completion of LMS modules and adherence to safety and quality standards. You will coach hourly associates, coordinate with Production Supervisors, and monitor KPI targets while supporting CI and retraining initiatives on the floor.

The role emphasizes strong collaboration, on-floor presence, and a focus on safety, food safety, and behavior expectations.

Qualifications

Experience leading training programs for hourly staff.
Ability to coach new hourly employees on floor processes.
Understanding of training policies, procedures and programs.
Track and document employee progress using skills checklists.
Build relationships with Production Supervisors and Shift Managers.
Communicate KPI targets effectively to teams.
Coordinate cross-department training and LMS refreshers.

Responsibilities

Lead new hire training across departments and ensure completion of LMS courses.
Support CI initiatives and retraining across departments as needed.
Oversee refresher training and ensure 100% compliance with training requirements.
Perform daily/weekly/monthly tasks per standard work and GMPs.
Assist in production floor support when required.
