Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Supervisory role for the 2nd shift to manage a team of production leads, associates, and machine operators. You will ensure adherence to the production plan, safety standards, and quality metrics while coordinating with warehouse and QA teams.

You will lead coaching, performance reviews, and staffing decisions, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of successful supervisory or leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Track record of driving KPIs and meeting or exceeding goals.
• Experience developing team members through leadership and management.
• Open availability to work weekend shifts.
• Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds occasionally with or without accommodation.
• Must stand/walk for 10–12 hours in a cold environment (less than 40°F).
• General high school degree, or equivalent (e.g., GED).

Responsibilities

• Execute the production plan as established by the Shift Manager and supervise an assigned team of hourly production leads, production associates, machine leads, and operators.
• Oversee staffing, safety, and adherence to SOPs across multiple production activities.
• Coach leads on setup, counts, and SOP compliance to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production equipment and packaging lines; coordinate with warehouse and quality teams.
• Lead huddles, performance feedback, and hiring/promotions for team members.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and ensure accurate handoffs to the next shift.
