Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Technician/Lead to verify equipment setup, portioning accuracy, and product integrity on the day shift (6:15 AM to 5:30 PM) with Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays off. The role includes on-the-floor coaching for new staff, training on FSQA tools, and escalation of quality issues to FSQA leadership.

Requires a high school diploma and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working in food quality are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Start-of Shift and Product Changeover Activities.
• Supports Core QC Activities including labeling, portioning, meal bagging, shipping line, and final box verifications.
• Document verification activities in the appropriate application.
• Conduct off-the-line ingredient quality inspections as directed by FSQA leadership.
• Conduct temperature checks for every cooler and freezer per shift and document results.
