Job summary

AMETEK Programmable Power in San Diego, CA is seeking a Production Technician to perform production testing, troubleshooting, and validation on power supply units. The role requires setting up test equipment, calibrating units, and documenting test results across a range of procedures.

You will work with analog and digital circuits, analyze failures, and contribute to root‑cause investigations while adhering to safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in production/test environments.
• Electronic Technician Certificate and/or AS Degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Legal right to work in the U.S. and access export‑controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate standard and special test equipment.
• Calibrate, align, and perform final functional tests for units.
• Log test data with model, serial, status and defect details.
• Troubleshoot circuitry to component level (analog and digital).
• Identify and report failure trends for root‑cause investigations.
