Job summary

AMETEK Programmable Power is seeking a Production Technician for the 2nd shift in San Diego to perform diverse production verifications and troubleshooting. You will work on digital and analog circuitry, analyze failures, and implement repairs to restore units to spec.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, data logging, and strict adherence to procedures in a fast-paced high-tech environment. Sign-on bonus of $2,000 after 6 months applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related experience as a technician.
• Electronic Technician Certificate and/or AS Degree in Electronic Engineering.
• Legal right to work in the U.S. and access export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate standard and special testing equipment.
• Log production test data (model, serial, status, failures).
• Diagnose and remedy defective assemblies to component level.
• Troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry at the component level.
• Maintain safety and compliance in test procedures.
