Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician in San Diego, CA to conduct manufacturing verification, engineering validation and functional tests on production units. The role requires diagnosing electronic circuitry at the component level and providing repair recommendations to restore product functionality.

2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with overtime possible. Candidates must have Electronic Technician Certificate or AS in Electronic Engineering and be legally eligible to work in the

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset and problem solving skills.
• Experience with production test and troubleshooting environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate standard and special test equipment.
• Calibrate and perform final functional tests per specifications.
• Log test data including model, serial, status and failure mode.
• Diagnose defects to determine cause and recommended修理/repairs.
