Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Maintenance Manager to direct the Machine Support group, maintaining production schedules and quality standards across the shop floor. The role requires hands-on SMT and tech equipment experience, plus expertise in process optimization and DoE methodologies.

You will recruit, coach, and develop staff, set measurable goals, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and compliance across all operations. This position reports to the Machine Support leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3 years in maintenance mgmt.
• Hands-on SMT and thru-hole equipment knowledge.
• Knowledge of SPC, DFM, DFA, and DoE methods.

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities of the machine support group and ensures adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Oversees maintenance programs including repair parts, preventive maintenance, and equipment updates.
• Plans staffing, recruitment, and training for Process Engineers, Industrial Techs, WAVE Techs, and Machine Support Techs.
• Establishes clear goals and metrics for the team and provides coaching and performance feedback.
• Coordinates large team activities and maintains safety and regulatory compliance.
