Jabil is seeking a senior maintenance manager to direct the Machine Support group, ensuring production schedules are met and quality standards are upheld across the team.

The role emphasizes recruitment, coaching, and development of Process Engineers, Industrial Techs, WAVE Techs, and Machine Support Techs, with a strong focus on driving improvements and safe, efficient operations in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; and three years experience in maintenance management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of Surface Mount Technologies (SMT) and Thru-hole equipment/gear, process optimization, Statistical Process Control, Design for Manufacturability, Design for Test, Demand Flow Technology (line balancing), and Design of Experiment methodologies.
• Knowledge of engineering disciplines including chemistry, mechanical, electrical, and industrial as it pertains to surface mount and final assembly.

Responsabilités

• Directs the activities of the Machine Support group to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Recruit, interview and hire Process Engineers, Industrial Techs, WAVE Techs, and Machine Support Techs.
• Coach machine support staff in interviewing and hiring; monitor turnover and improvements.
• Identify strengths and development needs; create training curricula and succession plans.
• Establish clear goals and monitor performance; drive continuous improvement in metrics.
• Oversee maintenance management programs, line moves, and equipment updates.
