Job summary

RTX, located in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Production Test Engineer II to support the test process through development, transition to production, and depot activities. The role is onsite with a 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM) and requires a DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship.

You will troubleshoot hardware test issues, validate data packages, and work on projects to improve test efficiency, yields, and capacity. RTX offers competitive benefits and a strong engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields (Science/Tech/Engineering/Math) with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• Ability to obtain/maintain ATF access.

Responsibilities

• Validate and ensure hardware compliance to data package requirements and test equipment.
• Troubleshoot test failures and identify efficiency improvements.
• Assist with spare parts and test equipment obsolescence planning.
• Analyze test data to reduce time and improve yields.
• Maintain test equipment documentation and software updates.
• Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
