Job summary

Goodwill of Greater Washington in Rockville, MD seeks a Retail Production Supervisor to oversee donation processing, inventory control, and staff supervision. You will ensure smooth operations, provide excellent donor service, and maintain safety standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of supervisory experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn internal software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and read internal documents.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Substitution option: GGW Aspiring Manager and Employ Excellence Programs may meet requirements.
• English and Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directing and motivating staff; maintain production flow for donation handling and inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service to donors and process donations accurately.
• Enforce store safety and security procedures.
• Assist with interviews, training, and performance evaluations.
• Record work activities and help manage staffing within budget.
