Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous leadership experience in a role such as Team Lead or supervisor strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt strongly preferred.
  • Ability to supervise fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP software, required.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, supervises, and directs daily production operations to minimize loss of work hours and achieve production and quality goals for the shift.
  • Exchanges timely information with other supervisors on product flow and workforce needs.
  • Coaches, instructs, trains, orients, and motivates employees to achieve production and quality objectives in a safe and effective manner.
  • Initiates and manages departmental teams to achieve desired goals.
  • Leads and participates in training, site projects, and safety programs.
