Job summary

IPG is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for 3rd shift in its Operations department to lead daily production, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvement across teams. You will supervise, coach, and coordinate with the Operations Manager to meet manufacturing goals while maintaining quality and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, and strong skills in communication, problem solving, and ERP/Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership experience in a role such as Team Lead or supervisor strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional motivator, skilled in leading teams and conflict resolution skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt strongly preferred
• Ability to supervise fast-paced industrial environment
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP software, required

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and direct daily production operations to minimize losses and meet shift goals.
• Coordinate information flow about product flow and workforce needs with other supervisors.
• Coach and train hourly employees and lead departmental teams to achieve safety and quality targets.
• Participate in selecting and interviewing hourly staff.
• Appraise employee performance and consider promotions or transfers.
• Initiate cost-reducing and continuous improvement efforts in methods or equipment.
• Oversee safety and housekeeping practices and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Enforce company rules, safety policies, and HR procedures; support disciplinary actions.
