Job summary

IPG is seeking a Manufacturing Manager I to oversee daily plant operations, lead department supervisors, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are achieved. The role focuses on directing workloads, improving processes, and driving performance improvements across the site.

Required qualifications include a B.S. in engineering or related field and 3+ years in a supervisory role, plus proficiency with MS Office and lean six sigma concepts.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Business Administration or other technical discipline preferred.
• 3+ years' experience in a supervisor or manager role.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and web-based technologies.
• Demonstrated manufacturing project management and continuous improvement skills, incl. lean six sigma and IPS.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to manage heavy workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department supervisors: assign workloads, monitor quality, promote safety.
• Identify and prioritize manufacturing plans to meet service, quality and productivity goals.
• Implement and sustain IPS performance metrics and move plant activities toward certification goals.
• Develop employee commitment to drive continuous improvement while following safety and quality systems.
• Establish a clear vision for assigned areas aligning with site and corporate goals.
• Manage labor and capital resources to optimize systems and balance budgets; schedule resources for maintenance and operation.
