Job summary

IPG, a global leader in packaging and protective solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor- 1st Line in its Operations team in the United States. The role is exempt and will supervise daily production, ensure safe operation of equipment, and drive continuous improvement.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and at least 2 years of manufacturing leadership experience. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Leadership experience in supervisor roles preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, supervises, and directs daily production operations.
• Coaches, trains, orients, and motivates employees safely.
• Participates in selection and interview processes for hourly positions.
• Handles payroll hours approval, reporting, and related admin tasks.
• Leads safety and housekeeping practices and responds to emergencies as needed.
