Summary

A Production Team Lead job in Tacoma, Washington is available at Milgard Windows and Doors, at our Internal Supply Vinyl building. In this role, you'll leverage your manufacturing experience to oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards, and support your team. This hands-on position requires mechanical skills and proficiency with measuring tools.

This position features a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts starting at 6:00 a.m., offering a balanced work schedule. The hourly wage starts at $22.00.

MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors, and PGT Industries, is a leading supplier of vinyl windows and patio doors with manufacturing plants nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Oversee departmental activities according to standard operating procedures
• Coordinate with the Shift Supervisor to assign and supervise personnel for efficient operations
• Assist in managing manufacturing orders to ensure proper completion and documentation
• Help personnel analyze and resolve work-related problems according to SOPs
• Ensure smooth changeovers between shifts
• Uphold Milgard’s Core Values in all interactions
• Support training and development of team members
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience mentoring and motivating teams
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to perform basic math and read a tape measure accurately
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
