Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle USA is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Team Lead to join our Rockford manufacturing team. The role oversees start-up, shutdown, sanitation, and packaging processes, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to cost targets.

You’ll guide a small team, coach operators, and communicate with cross-functional partners. You will use Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, SAP, and BI tools to analyze performance, train staff, and escalate issues when needed.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a food setting.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skills.
