Job summary

Perfetti Van Melle USA is seeking a Team Lead for 2nd Shift in Loves Park, IL. You will oversee start-up/shutdown, lockout, and sanitation of packaging and process equipment to meet cost and quality targets. Lead a cross-functional team with a focus on safety and clear communication.

Ideal candidates bring two years of manufacturing leadership, proficiency in Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Teams, SAP, and DMAIC training, with a track record of coaching others and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a food environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up, shutdown, lockout, sanitation and operations of packaging/process equipment.
• Coach and train team; ensure safety and food safety standards.
• Analyze data and train others on DMAIC problem solving methods.
• Prepare materials and deliver presentations to a wide range of audiences.
• Engage with cross functional teams and escalate to high level leaders when needed.
