Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas in Batavia, IL is seeking a Team Leader to provide leadership and operational support within a high-performance manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this role ensures daily production activities meet safety, productivity, quality, and cost targets while optimizing operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in the same department or related environment.
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean tools.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
• Proven ability to coordinate staffing and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities for assigned departments.
• Provide safe, efficient, high-quality operations direction.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and vacations.
• Lead 5S and Daily Team Maintenance initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality, Scheduling, and Customer Service.
• Drive continuous improvement to raise throughput and reduce costs.
