Job summary
State Street Corporation seeks a client-facing production operations specialist to manage Charles River IMS systems for multiple clients. The role includes client assistance, user administration, configuration changes, and performance tuning to ensure system availability.
The candidate should have 0–2 years in a technical/analytical discipline, familiarity with MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Sybase, and strong communication skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical discipline preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in CS/IT/Finance/Engineering/Science/Math/Stats preferred.
- Experience with Charles River IMS or financial services systems preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in optimal use of the system.
- Manage user administration and privileges.
- Configure parameters and monitor system availability.
- Perform performance tuning for databases and applications.
- Support daily operational processing and patches.
- Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Coordinate transitions for new clients to production.
- Collaborate with vendors to deliver integrated services.
