Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Production Support with Market Risk in Chicago, IL for a 12+ month contract (W2) with hybrid onsite (3 days on site, 2 remote). The role focuses on incident response, risk data queries, and monitoring across Market Risk domains.

You'll work with ITSM, IT RRS, JIRA, Splunk, and DynaTrace to analyze, report, and resolve issues, while coordinating with multiple regional teams and ensuring process adherence and documentation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Production Support experience in finance or risk domains.
• Strong SQL and Unix/Linux capabilities with LDMS or batch tooling experience.
• Knowledge of SDLC and ITIL processes is essential.
• Experience with ITSM tools, monitoring, and incident management.
• Familiarity with data reporting, automation opportunities, and cross-team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve Market Risk queries and incidents.
• Monitor feeds, batches, alerts, and production health metrics.
• Utilize ITSM, JIRA, Splunk, DynaTrace to update systems and produce reports.
• Coordinate with development teams to drive issue resolution.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base updates.
• Assist with metrics reporting and business continuity testing.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual work.

Akkodis is seeking a Production Support with Market Risk for Contract (W2) with a client in Chicago, IL - Hybrid - (3 days onsite in a week).

Pay Range: $60 -$65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Location: Chicago, IL- Hybrid (3days Onsite, 2days Remote)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

• Respond to and resolve business queries for Market Risk space.
• Manage user query mailbox effectively, understand the scope of teams work and ensure timely and appropriate response is provided for all user queries.
• Respond to and resolve feed and batch support items, Manage alerts and monitoring.
• Utilize important framework tools such as ITSM, ITRS, JIRA, DynaTrace and Splunk, etc. for both making updates and producing reports.
• Incident management - provide timely and accurate user notifications as well as managing escalations when needed.
• Documentation and knowledge management.
• Follow up and coordinate resolutions with various development teams.
• Assist with metrics reporting.
• Coordinate and perform Business Continuity testing and related paperwork.
• Organize and run meetings independently for issue resolution.
• Identify scope for automation to reduce manual, repeating tasks.
