Job summary

Gordon Flesch Company in OH seeks a Production Team Lead/Tech Level 3 to oversee the branch’s production print and wide-format equipment, lead the production team, and coordinate onsite service. You will work with manufacturer support to resolve complex production issues and ensure optimal system performance for customers.

The role requires strong knowledge of production hardware and software, travel to sites, after-hours support, and a commitment to ongoing training and factory certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong knowledge of production equipment hardware, software, workflows, print controllers, and connectivity.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex production-related problems.
• Willingness to travel and provide onsite support across branches.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Production Team Lead for the assigned branch.
• Serve as a Product Specialist on all supported production print and wide format equipment.
• May be deployed on short notice to provide onsite support.
• Work directly with manufacturer support organizations on advanced technical issues and escalations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, workflow, print quality, and connectivity issues.
• Address customer concerns and help restore equipment to optimal performance.
• Assist technicians, sales representatives, business analysts, and service leadership with production-related issues.
• Maintain required product training and certifications to support new and existing production customers.
• Expectations of a Production Team Lead/Tech Level 3 are required when no critical issues are present.
