ATI Specialty Alloys & Components is recruiting an Operations Manager for its Millersburg, OR operations. The role focuses on implementing Area Business Team objectives, modeling leadership, and coaching personnel to meet business goals while driving continuous improvement and optimal resource use.

Relocation assistance is available. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or engineering and at least 5 years in operations management within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or related field, with manufacturing experience.
• Experience in complex manufacturing environments requiring manual manipulation preferred (forging, casting, finishing).

Responsibilities

• Leads representation of the area in business and site level interactions and sets operating direction and targets.
• Identify, develop, and communicate goals for health, safety, environmental concerns and technical opportunities.
• Make sound business decisions based on technology plans that support business objectives.
• Lead the development and execution of capital projects that advance improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate model leadership by delegating authority, empowering teams, and driving accountability.
• Oversee professional development of direct reports through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
