Job summary

Consumers Energy in Michigan is seeking a Supervisor, Production, to oversee safe, reliable generation operations at Gratiot Wind - Middleton. You will coordinate daily activities of operations teams, supervise on‑call resources, and ensure timely completion of work orders in a unionized environment.

You will apply lean principles, manage contractors, and drive efficiency while aligning with safety and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 2+ years of power plant ops experience.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s degree with 4+ years of relevant technical experience.
• High School Diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in operating reviews and problem‑solving events.
• Recommend changes to facility systems, operations, and maintenance; prepare reports and utilize enterprise software.
• Apply lean methods to identify waste and drive continuous improvements; coordinate with leadership on budget needs.
