ALCOM LLC in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to oversee daily trailer production at our Sioux Falls facility, ensure schedules are met, maintain quality, and enforce safety standards. Lead and train production teams, coordinate with engineering, maintenance, quality and supply chain, and drive lean initiatives to improve efficiency.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of manufacturing supervision, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing supervision experience, preferably in trailer or metal fabrication industries.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to coach and mentor employees.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, train, and motivate production team members to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives.
• Oversee daily trailer manufacturing operations, ensuring work is performed to company standards.
• Schedule, assign, and monitor workflow to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Monitor product quality and enforce adherence to specifications and customer requirements.
• Promote a safe work environment by owning and ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues.
• Implement and support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of production performance, labor hours, and materials usage.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and assist in employee development.
• Address employee concerns, foster teamwork, and uphold company values.
