Job summary

ALCOM is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor for its Sioux Falls facility. You will oversee daily trailer production, ensure schedules, quality, and safety standards are met, and lead a hands-on team to achieve goals.

You will coordinate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain, drive continuous improvement, and maintain production records. A strong background in manufacturing leadership and problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to coach and mentor employees.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate production team members to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets.
• Oversee daily trailer manufacturing operations to ensure work meets company standards.
• Schedule, assign, and monitor workflow to hit production targets and deadlines.
• Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to specifications and customer requirements.
• Promote a safe work environment by complying with policies and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve issues.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain accurate records of production performance, labor hours, and materials usage.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and assist in employee development.
• Address employee concerns, foster teamwork, and uphold company values.
